About the Heritage NHS
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's foremost organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, the NHS is composed of students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921.
The Heritage High School Chapter of the NHS currently has 92 members, all of whom are held to the highest standard of academic merit and social responsibility. Throughout the year, we participate in many community service projects such as the annual Elementary School Halloween Party, the Animal Shelter's Dog Walk, and the East Side Soup Kitchen's lunch program.
